Cost effective, the RES is fire retardant and installs completely waterproof in New and Existing construction. The RES is used extensively in Commercial, Institutional and Residential Grab Bar Installations. No blocking or Wall Studs Required. Average time to install a grab bar is less than 10 minutes. When installing the RES into Ceramic Wall Tile, Plaster or Marble, use the Apache200 drill technology for quick, precise holes. 3/4 in. Holes Required. No caulk needed - self waterproofing. Designed for 2 in. x 3 or larger hollow walls and wall substrates from 1/4 in. - 1.3 in. thick. Exceeds all Building Codes and ADA Guidelines. Installs One of WingIts’ Grab Bar.
The Wingits Refined Engineered Safety RES grab bar fastening system is the only complete grab bar installation solution today. The package contains two fasteners, two waterproof seals, four stainless steel screws and complete installation instructions, all you need to install one grab bar. Simply measure and mark the wall where you want the center of the grab bar to be. Remove the center of the waterproof seal and the small piece of tape on the back. Place the center of the waterproof seal over the mark and press the waterproof seal into place. Now you have the template to drill the holes for the Refined Engineered Safety RES grab bar fastening system. Drill the holes and place the fastener into the wall. Now mount your grab bar with the stainless steel screws for a rating of 600 lbs in ceramic tile, fiberglass tub surround or drywall.
